HEInnovate is a self-assessment tool for Higher Education Institutions, ideas and inspiration for the effective management of institutional and cultural change.

The statements are factors likely to be characteristic of an Entrepreneurial Higher Education Institution. As a self-assessment tool, the framework has the simple purpose of helping Higher Education Institutions identify their current situation and potential areas of action, taking into account their local and national environments. This is not a benchmarking tool; it is a framework to help determine strengths and weaknesses and to provide Higher Education Institutions with access to good practice case studies for inspiration and guidance.
